The App requires at least your location. Connections can only be activated if you are physically near a cabinet. To determine where you are, the App needs access to your GPS (Global Positioning System) location. Permission must be granted for this. To check whether the App has access to GPS, you can go to “About/Debug” in the App menu. If there is a green checkmark next to “GPS access”, the App is functioning properly. If not, you need to configure this correctly in the settings and/or privacy settings of your phone or tablet. If you still cannot get a GPS position after this, it can be resolved in two steps: Go to “settings” and scroll down until the app “STROOMkast” is visible. 1. Tap the app and go to “Location” and select the option “Ask next time or when I share”. Restart the STROOMkast app and if asked to share your location, accept by selecting “Allow once” – do this every time your GPS is requested. This way the App will receive the GPS position from your phone. 2. If activation does not work due to a GPS problem, the App will display a pop-up after 10 seconds. In the pop-up, choose to go to the “mobile website”. This is the website version of the STROOMkast App. The requirement is that you have GPS enabled for your browser. The website version functions the same as the App.
